Blustery Bill

Popped over to Portland Bill today to blow away the cobwebs.  Phew - windy windy windy.  The sea was being well and truly whipped up.  Sea water spraying right across the peninsula - it was like standing in a salty cloud.  Great fun though.

Sun was peeking through the clouds when we arrived...

but stayed in for the rest of the visit.

It was a shame to notice as we were leaving that the lighthouse visitor centre was closed.  Is that a permanent thing or just for the winter season?
